best location in Cape town
Villa Sunshine is in Bantry Bay, a wonderful suburb of Cape Town right on the sea. The guesthouse is in a quiet neigbourhood but one can walk everywhere. There are loads of restaurants, a very good Spar and just down the road is the promenade where I walked all the way to the V&A Waterfront. The rooms are really nicely decorated with an african touch, the breakfast is great. So much fresh fruit!! I will definately be back and stay longer next time.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Take the red bus which is 2 minutes walk from the guesthouse and really get an idea of Cape Town. I also looked at their self catering apartments which are very close by. I think they are ideal for a family or for a longer stay as one has the use of a bbq and a full on kitchen.

Fantastic house with great location
Villa Sunshine is this cute big yellow house (which makes the name so fitting)with beautiful interiors and a very helpful management team. I slept like a log in the quiet surroundings and had a lovely view of Lions Head from my room. The other rooms has sea views. The breakfast service was very done very attentively, with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, juices and bacon and eggs.

The location is very central and it is within walking distance to the beaches of Clifton & Camps Bay as well as the V&A Waterfront with the access to the Robben Island ferries. Stop for a topless touring bus closeby and the worldcup stadium is about 4km away.

We (2 adults, 1 teen boy) just returned from a trip to Cape Town and spent four of our nights at the Villa Sunshine. The staff and owners were friendly, inviting, warm and knowledgeable - - really treated you like family and every request was attended to immediately. The location was excellent too, close to everything, walking distance to restaurants, safe and great views of ocean and mountain. Truely a wonderful place to stay. We would recommend this inn to anyone traveling to Cape Town and hope to return ourselves very soon.

Do ask the owners to make a reservation for Codfathers - - by far the best seafood meal I have ever had!!! Don’t miss it.
