Too far from town centre.
I was not impressed with the room. It is more like 2 star. Altough near Lake Garda you cant see Lake Garda from any of the rooms. However the staff were very good. Major problem with hotel is its location. It is far from town centre and public transport is not very good. Taxis are very difficult to get and there are not many taxis in town.
Traveller's tip
Get a hotel facing the lake as it will invariably be nearer town centre.

For older travellers
Good location, but no facilities for the few children who were staying which meant that they were bored. The majority of guests were 50+ yrs old, advantage-quiet place to stay! (no piped musak-hurray) The breakfast buffet was somewhat tedious, but have had worse. We ate out for other meals as local restaurants are often good. There is no gym-sad room on 2nd floor with old machines that dont work but most of the guests wouldnt have cared. The staff are not very well versed in customer service. But did return a pair of jeans that we had left behind. This is not a romantic hideaway or a great place for kids but for us, a couple in mid 40s it was a good place to use as a base.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Hire a car when you book your holiday and explore the area. We drove around the whole of Lake Garda in less than a day, stopping at pretty towns on the way. With a car you can also visit verona and other nearby towns, although we took a train into Venice, easy and worth it!
