A great break
This is a first class hotel in a superb and convenient location. Standards and service were five star and though a large hotel did not feel overwhelming. Lots of excellent facilities. It’s about a 15-20 minute easy walk from the centre of Funchal. For those who are thinking of going don’t hesitate but we would suggest you book a room with a sea view. We will be going back.
Do try and walk some of the Levanda’s. The countryside is truly maganificent with walks that cater for all levels of fitness and ability.

Good quality hotel
Nice hotel with all the services you would expect for a 5 star hotel. My only criticism would be the hotel’s location out of the centre of Funchal, but taxi’s were frequent and cheap.
