A taste of Heaven!
I decided on Le Royal Meridien based on all the good reviews I read so I thought it was only fair to give my feedback. Everything was perfect. The room, the service, the weather, the food, the facilities, no complaints whatsoever. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We barely left the hotel do do anything as it was so lovely. It was when I was lying on the beach and a waiter walked around handing out cold flannels and mini fruit slush puppies that I knew I had arrived at heaven on earth! Nothing in Dubai is cheap but if you can treat yourself, this would be the place to do it. I feel totally recharged.
November was perfect as it wasn’t too hot and fabulous to see any sun this time of year.

Great Hotel
The hotel is great for the price and facilities in Dubai. We went in mid-october and if you cant find a sun lounger here either round the pool or on the beech you are not looking. Hotel restaurants are not cheap, but the food is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants down the road where the locals eat and other hotel guests for much cheaper. I would only point out that if you wish to go to Dubai Creek which is a long taxi ride away and the Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeriah often the Texi fares (whilst still quite cheap) do start to rack up, but the hotels nearer the Madinat are a lot more expensive. Overall the Royal Meridien is a fantastic hotel where nothing was too much trouble, the hotel was exceptionally well presented and was clean throughout. As stated earlier the food was both wide ranging in choice and good. Drinks can be a little pricey.
Traveller's tip on dining
There are plenty of restaurants down the road out of the hotel that run parallel to the beach where there is better atmosphere than in some of the hotel restaurants. Go later when the locals go out for food and the place really comes alive.

Amazing hotel and staff, pure luxury, cant wait to go back!!
the hotel was fantastic and one of my favorite hotels in dubai and been many times before, loved the suite we stayed in it was so luxurious and views of the beach which were outstanding. Food was lovely ,especially the buffet meals, they have everything there to cater for every one. the spa was amazing and totally beautiful with the best therapists in the hotel with treatments, one of the best holidays i have had and will definatly be returning next year. 5 stars all the way..

check out the shops and bars next door to the hotel *the madinat hotel for more returants * the dubai mall ( not the emeriate mall) this one is newer and better * the atlanis hotel to swim with dolphins *the al karama market * the gold souk Many more attractions which the hotel can guide you with
