Not recommended for longer than 1 night
The Location on the Grand Via is good although you must expect the road to be very busy at all times. The room was not ready at 2 PM although you are expected to vacate by 11 am. I do not recommend for long stay and there are better hotels in the area. The single room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in although it looks like it has been renovated recently. I had no external window, the window opening faced inside and very little light, however for 1 night is adequate and quiet.

Caledonia
one great thing about this hotel is that it is in the center of the gay neighborhood of Barcelona. Numerous bars and the disco Metro are just a block or two away. The Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya only a 5 min walk. Don’t expect much from the hotel. It is bar bones, no frills. Even extra towels and ice posed a challenge to the front desk.

Great hotel
Great location.... Close to everything/ reserved from noise of La Rambla. Clean. Well priced.
