Has seen better days
This hotel is not worthy of 4 stars. The building was dated and had not been improved. Our door showed signs of having been forced in the past and no repairs had been made. At breakfast the waiters were somewhat lethargic, and breakfast itself could have been better (my wife found a hair in hers). Some of the staff (reception, bar and chamber maids) were friendly and efficient. All in all, however, the hotel was disappointing.
Traveller's tip
Spotorno is a lovely little town but the general feeling for me as visitor was that the tourists were there to be fleeced. Parking charges were high, the price to go on the mostly private beach was high and the beach attendants unfriendly and rude. Restaurants in the town offered reasonable food but at tourist prices.
