Excellent hotel for a few days in Pompei

Light and airy, with good service, and a good choice for breakfast. Mildly disappointed that the restaurant never opened, despite several assurances it would.

Great Rooftop Terrace and view of Mt. Vesuvius

Hotel is right outside the Pompeii Santuario (not Scavi) Circumvesuviana train station. Our room had a balcony with two chairs and a table and the rooftop terrace was wonderful. I was there in early May and the hot tub on the terrace wasn’t open yet, but there was patio furniture and it was a great place to watch the sunset over Mt. Vesuvius. 2 min walk to the main plaza in town for dinner and drinks. 10 min walk to the entrance of Pompeii. The staff was friendly and helpful and most spoke English. Hotel was clean and I would stay there again.

Great Location

Professional staff,Multi-Lingual,room was charming with a great view of the street from the balcony. Bell boy ? very helpful and pleasant.Breakfast very nice.across the street from the metro station and a short walk from the entrance to Ancient Pompei ruins.Small town nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

The museum was closed when we were there ,not to open till Sept.2009.We came in part to see the plaster casts in the museum as well as other items.
