Convenient Location
The hotel was conveniently located between the St-Pancras and Euston Underground/Train Stations - both within walking distance if you arent carrying a lot of luggage. Breakfast was great! There are pubs and coffee shops within walking distance, too. There arent any lifts, so be prepared to carry luggage to upper floors. When leaving we asked the desk to call for a Taxi for us and were a little uneasy when an unmarked taxi showed up. He took us to Euston, but dropped us off across and down the street - Im guessing because he was illegal and couldnt pull up to the station. We got a taxi so we wouldnt have to drag our luggage any further than necessary so this was not a good last impression of the hotel services.

ONE NIGHT IN THE WEST END!!
OK - clean and tidy, but dining area far too small - highly congested at times.

First time to London by myself
I recently went on my first adventure out of the country by myself. I did my research and found the George hotel. I was a little pessimistic because my friends from London had suggested I stay in another area. I have to say I felt save where I was staying. The location of the hotel was great because I had to take a train out of the Euston station and it was so convenient because I was able to leave my luggage behind to do some more sight seeing before I left. Also the St. Pancras and Kings Cross Tube station was so close that it made I easy to move around the city. The accommodations were different to those I am accustomed to here in the States, but what did I expect from a city that has 8 million people. The room was sufficient for one person, the staff was really nice and helpful, the breakfast was good for being free, the price was good since I was on a budget and the location was great. I would stay there again if I stay in that area of London. Two Thumbs up for The George Hotel.
