cheap and cheerful

Adequate but could do better
The staff are wonderful people, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is fine too, walking distance from the train station and easy to walk to everything in the old and new cities too. The bed was not comfortable, and I found the place somewhat noisy too, even after closing both doors leading to the bedroom. Shower had good water but it was a bit cramped. Breakfast was good but not worth what they charged. I might go back there if I was on my own, but if I were traveling with my family I’d probably look elsewhere.

Average Hotel
Arrived early in the morning & allowed into room although it had not been cleaned from previous guest! Yuk! Toilet room only had a curtain (no door) & was very small. Toilet also had to be flushed 3 times & there was always a ’bit of a smell’. Shower also very small. Room was cleaned every day & was left fresh enough but overall could be doing with a bit of paint and tidy up. Having said all that, the location was great, hotel owner was very pleasant & is just about what you would expect for a budget hotel.
If you want a basic budget hotel & you can put up with a very basic toilet then this is fine. If you want any small comforts then pay a bit more and go to another hotel.
