charming hotel in great location
70 Park is a quiet location, away from the noise of the theater district. The lobby is stylish and there is complimentary wine between 5 and 6. The breakfast is way too expensive, but there are good breakfast places a short walk away, and a Sunday brunch at the Scandinavian Design shop next door. We asked for a larger room, and while it wasnt huge, it was quite large enough. The room was clean and well-appointed. The only minor complaint was a very noisy air-conditioner. The price was good value, and we would definitely go back and recommend to others.

A reasonable compromise
A step or two away from being a luxury hotel. Its friendly, cheerful and does as well as it can in making a silk purse out of a sows ear: the building itself is old and has seen better days. And the rooms, while well appointed, are cramped. Still, a great location -- a straight shot to LaGuardia airport via the tunnel and steps from Grand Central Station.

a kitchy little getaway
I was generally satisfied with the hotel with the exception of high room service rates. But the rooms were well furnished and extremely clean. The linens were comfortable beyond belief. The staff was all very friendly and the bar/lounge is certainly inviting.
