Charming Older Hotel with lots of Character
If you like older hotels I would highly recommend Atholl Arms. It is a hotel with lots of character and charm. The people are wonderful and really made us feel at home. I definitely hope to stay here again.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
There is nothing better then sitting by the Tay and watching the river go by. Dunkeld is such a beautiful little village. If you get the chance, just spend the day enjoying the beauty and peace you can find there.

OK for a short stay
This hotel was adiquate for a short stay in the Dunkeld area Room was clean although the mai light did not work it had plenty of lamps. TV was best watched from the bed.
Excelent low level and medium walks in the area. + ospreys in the area

Let’s all head to Dunkeld!
Fairly jaded hotel but certainly ok for a few nights standard fare - if you like a Coronary Breakfast - you’ll get a good one here! Andmake sure you get a room that doesn’t look over Dunkeld High Street to avoid traffic noise. If you lean to voyeuristic tendencies in terms of listening to folk next door swinging from the chadleliers, the paper thin walls facilitate this excellently ;-) NB Ear plugs or other gadgets (?!) are not available free at reception!
Next door at the Taybank - overlooks the Tay - beer garden - not bad food - Scottish style entertainment some evenings - jamming sessions/ singalongs - highly recommended
