Cheap!
This is an overall positive review! Hotel looked lovely, right on canal. Definitely get the free mosquito buster from reception, who were friendly throughout our stay. Great central location. Standard double room (room 12) quite small, but clean and comfy. Great view from window over canal, double glazed and opened right up. En suite bathroom ridiculously small (triangular plastic cabinet in corner) and smelled a bit like pub toilets until we wiped it down. Breakfasts were nice and usual Euro affair (ham and cheese with yoghurts & bread). Management had odd habit of leaving as many external doors open as possible despite the weather, so our radiator was used when in in the evenings. Ceiling was made of stretched rubber!? Great price rescued it, but it was a good cheap base to explore Bruges from.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If you want to visit many museums plus other Bruges-sponsored attractions, get the discount "Love Bruges" card at 35euros from tourist info for two days discounts. Canal rides are great, but get busy after 10AM. Eating out in the evening is v. expensive at 14euros a starter and 22euros a main as normal.

Small comfortable hotel close to the centre of Bruges.
Quite a central location. No bar at the hotel but there are several in the local vicinity. Staff very pleasant helpful. Would definitely go back there for a short stay.

Climb the Bell Tower then have a lovely Belgian Hot Chocolate!

Lovely little hotel
Stayed here recently for 2 nights. It was very nice, clean, modern, great location, very good value.
