Price is a little steep but very nice hotel
I forgot my razor and the staff brought one to me right away. The hotel is very clean and quite. The decor is basic, but works well with the overall appearance of the hotel and suits the space in the room. The parking is street or valet at $12 per day, but that’s pretty standard for downtown Richmond hotels. Hotel is within walking distance of many nice restaurants.

One night stay
Great location in downtown Richmond near restaurants and bars. Hotel has a nice historic charm to it. Our room was small but otherwise met our needs. Bed was very comfortable.

The Beautiful Berkeley
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Berkeley. The staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean, well-decorated and had extra added touches. Some complaints we had were the following: bad parking!!! We had to pay $15 for off-site parking! There was no fridge in the room, and there was no free continental breakfast. They claimed to have a free paper every morning for guests but you had to go to the lobby and request one. The TV in our room was on the side, not in front of the bed, so you had to lay on your side to see it. There was some sort of party in the room next to us the night we stayed there and the walls were quite thin. Bring your earplugs! One thing to keep in mind: by booking with hotels.com, we saved about $100 from what we would have paid had we made the reservations directly through the hotel.
