Fantastic place to stay
The hotel is made up of 8 apartments, which are beautifully decorated and well maintained. Each has a little balcony and sitting areas as well as a little kitchen where you could cook if you wanted. Most importantly each apartment has a fridge. The breakfast area is on the top floor, which is cover, but also looks out over Lagos. A nice start to the morning. The range of breakfast options is fantastic, from fruit and yoghurt to omlettes and sausages. The pool is small but nice to relax in. There is also an area with loungers which catches the sun in parts all day but also provides shade. The hotel is on the edge of the old town of Lagos, a quick 5 minutes walk to the town centre and 10 minutes down to the edge of the harbour. Wonderfully placed to be able to access all the shopes/activities, but also far enough away not to get any of the noise from the bars in the town. One word of caution though, their idea of an apartment for three is two single beds in the bedroom and the sofa in the living area. If you actually want three beds you have to pay extra. Other than that I would highly recommend it and would definitely go back!
Traveller's tip on dining
There are lots of different cafes and restaurants to try and most are lovely, well priced (given the current exchange rate) and serve good food. Ice cream wise definitely try Botique do Gelado. For food we would recommend Mullens which had lovely food, drinks and atmosphere. But avoid the Orange Roll for dessert if its still on the menu (not good). Also avoid the restaurant with yellow and green chairs on the main strip of restaurants. It looks lovely and busy, but the food was average at best.

Charming and romantic
Situated within the walls of old town Lagos, this is a charming and romantic hotel in the style of a Moroccan riad. Fabulous breakfasts, an ideal situation, central but peaceful, and with the bonus of a small but attractive swimming pool must make it a perfect choice for a stay in Lagos.
