Impressed
Enjoyed our stay there. Would use the same resort in the future. The diving and dive staff were great. Very relaxed, casual resort. Very friendly and efficient resort staff.
Traveller's tip
If booking with Expedia, ensure you get the details to book the seaplane or speedboat well in advance. If you do not book at least 4 days in advance you will not get a seaplane for a while (stuck in Male)or will have to pay a diversion fee of no less than $200 if you are lucky enough to get a seaplane that is going past the resort that has empty seats.

NO NEED FOR SHOES, OR SMART EVENING WEAR
We just had a most amazing stay here, nothing as we expected. We kicked off our shoes upon arrival and did not put them back on until we got back to Male Airport. Not the most luxurious of Islands, but very casual indeed. Lots of Itallian Hony mooners, as the Island is Itallian owned and mainly blocked off for them, they only have the island on Expedia and the Itallian company. Entertainment every night, sometimes only in Italian, but thats the time you order your romantic dinner on one of the many piers. Excusions to different dive and snorkle sites every day, equipment really cheap to hire. Pristine beaches and water, it only takes 5 minutes to walk around. Resembles a little like Ko Samui in the early days, lovely little beach huts, and huts on stilts. FREE BAR - what more do you need? I would recommend this place and cannot wait to go back. It’s a great place to go with a group or just the 2 of you (almost everyone was on honeymoon) the casualness of it makes for a care free break!
Traveller's tip
Try to contact the Maldivian Air Taxi direct. Dont be dissappointed if you have to wait a while for a flight either, the more frequent flights, go to busier islands! The island arrange your return journey, and dont be put off by the times either, they say only oprate between 9 - 4. We left the Island at 8:30 (there is a one hour time difference between the Island and the mainland) and still managed to get our 9am flight with Emirates
