A Basic Hotel, but great location
We stayed in the Royal Beach in Sept 08. Location is superb, you can’t be more central in Magalluf. Right next to the beech, shops, bars and restaurant. Perfect. The hotel was basic, with a large room, but nothing special. It is looking a little tired, and could do with some modernising. That said, if you want a centrally located hotel, then this is it. Be warned, I wouldn’t recommend for families, as there were quite a few groups of young people there for stags and hen weekends.

The worst hotel ever stayed in!!
The room type requested was not provided. The hotel staff were not at all helpful. We found cocroaches in the kitchen of the room and lizards on the wall of the room. When asked of we can get another room as a result of these bugs, we were told they couldnt give us any other room. We were staying with an infant and they were not at all honorable or considerate to provide another room for the inconvenience and horror we faced during our stay at the hotel. We will definitely not be recommending this hotel to anyone else. This is most certainly not at all a family friendly hotel. Disappointed family from Harrow.
Not appropriate for a family holiday. Hotel is located amidst pubs and clubs and people returning to the hotel at early hours of the morning drunk and loud! If you have children, we do not recomend this hotel.

We’ve returned two years on the trot!!
Great friendly hotel. Situated on the beach at the end of the strip [main nightlife]. Its great for hen nights, stag night, lasses weekends and even families. I’ve never seen any trouble when we have stayed, it’s never even been rowdy. The staff are friendly, and help when needed. The pool area is clean and right on the beach, there are plenty of sunbeds and theres a snack bar on site. The hotel is a great all rounder. Its only downfall is not air-con but you can hire a fan.
Night life is on the doorstep. The strip is 50m to the right when you leave the hotel and the square and BCM are opposite. There are plenty of restaurants near by, we use happy place a lot, good value and friendly staff.
