Overall Good Value
This was a last minute find and we were pleased with our stay at this Resident’s Inn. Staff were pleasant and the location met our needs. That being said, I need to add that the bed was pretty uncomfortable. I am hoping that this was the exception to the beds in the hotel and I would give it another try.

Nice spot, 35 mins. away from Washington D.C.
Definitely recommend it. The rooms were clean, although they have some type of air purifier that leaves the room smelling somewhat strange. The complimentary breakfast had enough variety, and the food was great. Overall, we were very pleased, and we’d stay again. (Note: conveniently enough, it’s next door to a Burger King and a gas station)
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
It’s only 5 or 6 miles away from the Udvar-Hazy National Space and Air Museum. Entry fee is $15.00, though. Kids would love it, but wear comfy shoes for the walk!

confusing protocol
We went to breakfast and left the do not disturb sign on the room, so that we would not return in the middle of the housekeeping visit to our room. However, their signs are worded "Do not make up this room" or something similar. We returned to the room and relaxed a little while, then left around 11:30 a.m., removing the sign with the expectation that housekeeping would come in and make the bed, clean the bathroom, empty the trash, etc. Late that afternoon when we returned, the room had not been made up. The housekeeping staff had quit for the day, so we received no service whatsoever. We did, however, have a delicious and hearty breakfast.
