modern hotel outside mykonos town
Recently renovated hotel. Everything fine apart from location. Unless you plan to hire a scooter or car, it is a steep 25 min slog up and down hill. The location is not ideal for the two bus terminals either if you plan to rely on public transport.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There are only 30+ taxis on Mykonos. If you arrive in the new port late at night you may end up having to wlak to your hotel. Or face a very long wait.

Modern, Updated Hotel in Mykonos with Good Service
Hotel Thomas in Mykonos was a great place to wind up or 12-day, 3 island tour! Pros - Hotel was newly updated and very modern, with IKEA furniture and upscale sheets/towels - Nice pool and jacuzzi - Very clean - Staff was friendly. It was our honeymoon and we arrived to a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room - Our room had a balcony with two chairs... it was nice to relax there Cons - Hotel was slightly farther than we thought from the actual center of Mykonos. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but still only a 5 minute drive from the center of town (after we rented a car). Staying here does mean you need to rent a car or motorcycle (the hotel has a cycle rental right there)
Traveller's tip
- Make sure to rent a car or motorcycle. There are a very limited number of taxis on the island, and if you are only there for a few days, it will be tough to do everything while relying on public transportation/taxis - During the high season, a car is about 55 Euros/day (~$90 per day with the exchange rate in July 2008)

not the best but confortable
nice hotel but the personnel in the desk need to change for another job , very frezing and rude when they speak english ,they does not what it is an hotel and the respect for the customer .but you can explain everything to the manager of the hotel very nice girl and comprehensif
