Brilliant Hotel, will return year after year!
This was a truly brilliant hotel! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean comfortable and well presented. cleaned every day to a high standard too. Breakfast had a large selection of things e.g cakes, breads, cereals, biscuits, ham, chees, jams etc. Also fruit juices, teas, coffes and water. The owners and staff were always there and ready to help with any questions and have local maps and leaflets of things to do in several languages. Overall i had a very plesant stay. I would say that renting a car is a good idea as it is up the top of the town and if you want to visit other sites, beaches or places it is essential. However the hotel does offer a lift to and from the local beach and will even lend you a sun umbrella so if you are not interested in sightseeing etc you could easily do without. i will definitly be going back there again as soon as i can afford it and cannot wait!
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
the local restaurunts all close in the afternoon and then do not open until about 7pm so if you want lunch do not go too late. the tabacco shop sells stapms but do not buy other things in there as it is overpriced eg a snorkel in ther costs 28 euro whereas along the seafront in the Tshirt shop you can get it for 10.90 same with lilos. hotel pop near the port does really nice pasta, la pultrona just 3 mins walk from the hotel does great pizza so does roadhouse blues on seafront

The Cleanest Hotel
Hotel Brancamaria was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Despite the staff’s minimal english language they were all very friendly and welcoming. I would go back to Hotel Brancamaria.

Excellent base for exploring the Golfo di Orosei
We were generally very impressed with this hotel. The only minor complaints that we had were that the pillows were rather meagre and it was a bit of a trek into town.
Traveller's tip on dining
The restaurant at the Hotel Bue Marino is excellent.
