Not comfortable
The building is modern; it’s new; it’s well kept; front desk is capable, friendly and professional; free wi-fi; location is great - close to Plaza Espanya (including the metro). So what’s missing? In one word - comfort. Bed is extremely hard; room is dark as it is on the bottom floor of the apartment building; room has a kitchenette - but NO service, not even a kettle to heat water.

Good choice
It was a nice surprise, matched most of the other reviews that I had seen, with pluses and minuses, but the overall satisfaction level was high. Good ratio money/what you get.

BCN-Montjuic
The hotel is good, very well located a few blocks of Plaza España, subway and the Montjuic hill. In the neighbordhood there are many place to for coffee and eat.

Try to do the sightseeing bus if you stay a few days. You will see the most important from Barcelona and you can Hop on Hop Off. The bus stop in Plaza España.
