Best Location Around
Best Wester Willowbank Hotal was location was stragicaly in the best area for my needs. The Staff were very helpful and were willing to go the extra mile for my every request. The down side was that they had no Lift/Elevator and the Menu was limited. The Up side was that they gave me a free upgrade to my room and obliged my request to be on the Ground Leve to the Reception because of my Mobility Issue with Staris. I did however have to contend with the short stairway coming and going from the Hotel, and since I was only in and out once a day it did not become a problem.
Traveller's tip on local attractions
If you are Mobility Handicapped, do not stay here, unless you can handle the short stairs going in and leaving the Hotel from ground level to the Reception Area.

Not bad for the price
This hotel is located on Wimslow Road, which becomes Oxford Road, the main bus route in Manchester. Catching a bus into town is very easy. Its about a 20 minute bus ride. You can get a weekly unlimited bus pass for about 11 pounds. As for the rooms, they are pretty small, but if you are by yourself, not a problem. There is free wi-fi. The beds are a bit hard, but after getting a furnished flat in the town, I miss the bed that I had at the Willowbrook. My shower had some pretty crappy water pressure, but the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The surrounding area is very safe and there is a large supermarket across the street, as well as plenty of places to eat and grab a pint. I highly recommend it for the price.

Comfortable for short stay
Very helpful & friendly staff. Rooms a little dated but clean. Terrestrial TV reception poor. Lovely breakfast. On direct frequent bus route to city centre, Uni & Manchester Royal Infirmary & Curry Mile. Pleasant bar area.
Short bus ride from Curry Mile
