Comfortable and friendly
Quietely situated but only a relatively short walk from the old town centre. Comfortable room, good breakfast, and very polite, friendly, helpful staff.

Lovely hotel in good location
We stayed at the hotel either side of a trip to Innsbruck and couldnt find fault with it. Its an easy 15 min walk from the bus/train station and consists of 2 seperate buildings - the Villa Auersperg and Hotel Auersperg. Our first night was in the Villa and we were told that it has recently been fully refurbished. Our standard double room was clean and comfortable with some nice touches like a coffee machine, BluRay player and DAB radio/cd player. The hotel doesnt have a restaurant for evening meals but you can get light snacks at the bar and there are plenty of places a short walk away. Our second night was in the main Hotel and we were given a free upgrade to a bigger room. The rooms werent drastically different to those of the refurbished Villa and the furniture etc was in good quality. The larger room had a seperate sitting area and a seperate WC to the main bath/shower room. The roof top Spa area of the main Hotel (accessible to all guests) is great. The buffet breakfast was good and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
Helbrunn Palace - definitely worth a visit (bus 25 from the main bus station).

Not bad, but, then again, not great
The title of this review says it all, really. Very good breakfast, decent location, and, ostensibly, quite an impressive hotel. However, there were a number of drawbacks; being a boutique hotel, everything feels a bit squashed and cramped, not least the lift and our room. The room seemed well worn, with a number of maintenance issues, and lacked air-conditioning. It would probably have been ok for a stay of a single night, but I wouldnt necessarily recommend it for longer periods.
