Days Inn Hotel...closest hotel near Parris Island MCRD

Overall, this was a nice hotel to stay at. Don’t expect 5 star quality. I think you will need to be closer to Hilton Head, S.C. if you’re looking for that. I was down to see my son graduate from boot camp and stayed at the Days Inn Parris Island. It’s the closest hotel near the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. I think I was less than 5 miles away driving distance. The hotel staff was friendly and provided the type of service you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel venue. They were able to tell me where the closest shopping center was, restaurant suggestions, etc. Breakfast was included in the price, which consisted of cold cereals, bagels, toast and juice selections. There was a restaurant in the same parking lot which you could use as a breakfast substitute and also was open for lunch and dinner. Check-in & check-out was uncomplicated using Expedia as the reservation / payment option. They had a vendor available a day or two before graduation that sold USMC memorabilia in the hotel lobby area. I would stay here again if I am in the area and I recommend this hotel...especially for relatives and friends of new Marines graduating from boot camp at Parris Island.

Days Inn Review

I would stay at this hotel again, however it was very noisy, with cleaners coming by your room all the time. One of the cleaners tried to open our door at 9:00 in the morning while we were still sleeping. Other than the noisiness, it was a pretty good hotel for the price.
