Nice place to stay
The location on in the middle of the skywalk is very nice. Easy to get to anywhere downtown. Room was small, but very clean.

Good hotel for the $
Stayed at the hotel in October for 2 nights. Hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable, the hotel had a nice contemporary decor and the staff were very nice. The signage in the parking garage was a bit confusing in terms of directing drivers but the hotel doesn’t own it. Glad to have off the street parking though. The only headache of the whole trip was from the city - construction of I-35W made travel a hassle. Great hotel and close to the Metrodome.
If you want to get around downtown easily, take the light rail train. Very cheap and WAY better than walking or driving with all of the downtown construction.

Crown Plaza, Minn.
The hotel has been redone and the rooms are very nice. Despite elevator ads and information in the guest directory, there is no full service dining at night. Breakfast is in the dining room, but at night they only had bar fare in the lobby level bar. They did provide a good listing of local restaurants.
