Hotel Okay
Hotel not too bad for a hotel in that price category and I was only staying one night. Had a slight problem with the attitude of one of the bar staff however when I complained to the management it was sorted out to my satisfaction. Would stay again but wouldn’t be my first choice in the Elgin area

Relaxing stay, nice-sized room, enjoyed the leisure facilities. We would return.

Go for the food, not the room
Wonderful dining room and bar area. Food was much better than average and staff efficient. Reception was very helpful in giving directions. As the hotel in on the western edge of town, no walking anywhere. The room was small and the heating unit could not be controlled, it was on or off, usually making the room too hot/cold. The mattress was worn so I could feel the springs; had to sleep on top of the duvet to get some padding under me. The TV was so old it had no remote -- had to turn it on and change channels at the set.
