Best service we had in Italy!

This B&B is a great place to stay in Sorrento. It may be difficult to find alone, but our Hertz GPS brought us directly to it. Just make sure you are in a little car if you plan to turn down the main street (Priora) otherwise park on the street. We had a small van and it was an adventure! Our party had 4 adults and 4 children. We had reserved 2 rooms on Expedia, but after we got there asked for an additional room (just to get a break from the kids, lol, the rooms were huge and would easily fit 4 adults). We got there tired, late, in typical chaos, but Maddalena was so kind, patient, and helpful. She got us all taken care of and even found us something to eat even though it was so late. The rooms are clean, decorated nicely; one of ours had an amazing antique wardrobe. The bathrooms are clean; have a hair dryer and large towel warmer. The breakfast is typical European: milk, tea, breads, croissants, and jam; perfect for starting a day. There is a bus stop at the top of the street; this so convenient. We went in December so it was too cool to eat outside, but there is a table and huge patio area with amazing views. We enjoyed our stay so much that will be back again and would recommend this to everyone. The price is great and the service is unbeatable.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

You do NOT want to drive around in Sorrento, Positano, etc. The traffic is crazy. You can take a bus to the main square in Sorrento. There are a ton of local shops. Then you can walk a couple of blocks to the main bus terminal and take a bus to anywhere. We went to Positano. It was amazing. Just hold your breath; the ride is a little scary but beautiful!

Great room, great view, but need a car

We rented a suite - a large room, a large bathroom on an upper floor with jacuzzi, and a terrace. The quality of the suite was high and the view toward the Bay of Naples and the Vesuvio is spectacular. However, the hotel is located in Priora - a village (suburb) of Sorrento, and one needs a car to get around. Good for people who enjoy the peace and quiet of village tourism.

Beautiful but tucked away

This is a great little B&B, clean, beautifully furnished, friendly but seriously tucked away. Took 5 women, 3 hours to find it, you may think this is not unusual but it would have been a lot easier if the address included the name of the village it is located in, several miles outside of Sorrento itself! But once there great, good bus service into Sorrento with the bonus of an Italian singing bus driver, good restaurant 10 minutes walk away and best of all, waking in the morning and seeing those fantastic views across the Bay of Naples. If you want peace and quiet and are not worried about being in the heart of the town, this is the place for you.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Take the boat from Sorrento to Positano/Amalfi, fantastic day trip and very relaxing, but for the best views and scenery you have to drive the Amalfi coast road, though not recommended for the faint hearted!
