Lovely Philadelphia Trip
I recently went back to visit friends and family in Philly, and although they had offered a couch or other sleeping options, I booked the Crowne Plaza with my flight. My room was fabulous!!! The King size bed was huge, comfortable, and had lovely linens on it. On the bed was a pretty satchel - in it was a lavendar linen spray and ear plugs! Room service was prompt and affordable - the staff take VERY good care of you!! The hotel offers a driving service that uses a special "drop rate" instead of a meter, and I found that it was less expensive than a cab.

Service still lacking.....
I was in town for a weekend wedding-stay not bad-more help needed at front counter for check in@4pm-there was only one person who went to get help after she overhead a few of the other guests complaining-my room was okay-Iron was a little outdated-batteries on the fritz in remote control-water pressure low in sink and commode-Ten dollars per night for a microwave! little things that added up-I guess I’ve been spoiled by other hotels--DO NOT EAT @ TGIF!It leaves a lot to be desired! There is Calif Pizza-Chipotle Starbucks Target TD bank 24hrs in walking distance No towels were ready the next day when housekeeping cleaned-they were in the dryer!One night there was a top sheet on our bed another night there wasnt-the bed was ok-just not Plushy as before-When we checked out we had to call out for the desk clerk in a backroom-we werent asked how was our stay-we had to offer up the keys even-I wonder if the employess realize that low capacity will affect their jobs.
