excellent hotel
Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms,friendly and helpfull staff. very close to Gaslamp area. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Public transport is easy to use and quick. Dont take a coachtrip to LA, quicker and easier by car. Must visit Julian and have an apple pie :)

A Good (not Great) Hotel for Downtown San Diego
My family visited the hotel for an extended week-end/anniversary trip. The hotel is in a good downtown location a few blocks away from the Gaslight district. The rooms were clean but small for a suite. It was fine for the two of us plus our six year daughter but would has been a problem for a bigger family. We had a problem with our non-smoking room smelling pretty bad of smoke. The staff moved us immediately to another room. The valet parking was quick easy to work with.
