Great Location
Excellent value and great location - right in the heart of Madrid. The hotel is located about 20m from a Metro stop which makes it easy to access from the Airport (you do need to change twice and it takes about 20mins). The bedroom and bathroom are of decent size and very modern. It is worth going to the 9th floor where there is a rooftop terrace with great views onto Gran Via and over Madrid.

Definitely Going Back
The Vincci Capitol was just brilliant. The hotel is gorgeous & the rooms are really comfortable. The hotel itself is very central & within walking distance of the Plaza Mayor which was a great place to people watch and also only a short walk to the Palace. It’s also just a few minutes walk from the shops as well which is very important for us girls & a short ride away from the local pubs & clubs. Really enjoyed Madrid and definitely would be going back & staying in this hotel.

No frills hotel, perfect for a long weekend
Vincci Capital is ideally situated on Gran Via close to the major attractions and there is a metro station right outside the back door. The hotel is clean and comfortable but doesn’t offer much in the way of additional benefits. We didn’t sample the breakfast as it was very expensive and when we tried to sample the bar one afternoon found it to be totally empty of both customers and staff and so had to give it up. I had read that the staff on reception were not very helpful but when we enquired about tickets for the bull fight they rang and found out all the information for us and had the tickets deliverd to the hotel within the hour. In short nothing sparkling but an above average tourist hotel
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
We got a taxi from the airport to our hotel which cost 40 euro! At the end of our stay we used the metro to get to the airport which cost only 2 euro. You do have to change twice however and the trains are very busy at rush hour
