Place to stay in Downtown Indy!!
We have stayed at Embassy Suites Downtown Indy many times, and for many years. We have always enjoyed our stay, and the location of this hotel. We enjoy the free breakfast and is have been so impressed with Embassy that when we got married in Lake Tahoe, California, we made sure we stayed at the Embassy Suites there and also had our reception there as well. The only thing I was not impressed with this stay was when we checked into our rooms, there was either an old towel left in the room, or it was just not folded and put away. Also all the garbage cans in the room had not been emptied. That was alittle upsetting , especially when you pay that kind of money for your room and little things like that are not done.

Frustrating
The room was "ok". Not the best and certainly not the worst. We had an issue with our lock not working. We were on the 15th floor. We had to go all the way back down to the front desk, they checked our cards and said they were good. They called maintenance and said they needed to replace the batteries in the electronic lock. Ok, thats understandable, things happen and that was early evening, no harm. However, maintenance did not replace the battery, they got the door to work, we went to dinner and when we returned, same thing, frustration just compounded. Then we were assured everything was good to go so we went out for drinks and some fun, yep, you guessed it, when we returned around midnight same thing except this time it took almost 45 minutes and 2 trips to the front desk to get maintenance there to open the door. Even then they did not replace the battery or repair the problem.
