Convenient and Clean
Perfect for students of people planning a short stay in Freiburg. Food is great, service is excellent, and the room was clean. The only drawback is the rooms are a bit small, but the beds and pillows were great. Highly recommended!

Breakfast charges
The people and service were not bad overall. But they gave us a tokens for breakfast. What they did not tell was that each was worth 12 Euros. When we were checking out they gave a separate bill for breakfast. It was a shock. Had we known earlier, we would have eaten outside. The food was not bad. But they did not communicate clearly and we assumed that it comes with the hotel like the local transit free pass they had provided.

Great base for day trips
This hotel is a typical modern European hotel, clean, tasteful decoration, more spacious than older hotels. This InterCity, like most, is right next to the main train station. The hotel gives free street tram passes to guests which makes this an excellent place to use as a jumping off point for Freiburg area touring. The housekeeping staff does a great job and the cleaning staff manager was particular in doublechecking the staff’s work. The only negative to this hotel is that the wireless internet service was grossly expensive when compared to other hotels, and particularly when compared to T-Mobile. But there are a few cheap internet hot spots in the area.
