The suites are gorgeous!
The room had immediate impact when we arrived, with the bath in the room (which was perfect after a day at the races!). Bed very comfy, room beautifully decorated & spacious. Gorgeous, would love to return! Really would highly recommend. Only criticism is that they did not do cocktails & I really felt like a cosmopolitan that night!

A great hotel in a great City
We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and the location. It’s only 5 mins stroll to the Minster. The car park is not large enough for the hotel but the quality of the hotel makes up for that. We will definitely stay here whenever we visit York

Fabulous food - rooms a little small but comfortable
Wonderful location and resturant. Be early to get a parking space. One niggle - gusts must move cars from car park by check out time - understandable given location and size of car park but could be a nuisance if going to an early meeting.
Traveller's tip on dining
Really superb food and a great pricing policy each course has a price (fantastic value for the quality) whatever. Wine list a little expensive and could be wider but house wines excellent
