Great value in Ipanema / Leblon
Great location and view; surprisingly good value for area and one we wish we hadn’t overlooked on our previous trips to Rio.
Go to the Samba Schools for Carnival!

Fantastic location
Marina has a fantastic location opposite Leblon beach. Bar de Prahia next to the hotel is a fantastic spot to watch the world go by. The view from the roof top pool is amazing with views over the bay and Cristo in sight. Would not hestitate to return to this hotel.

Affordable luxury in Rio
The most prominent hotel in Leblon and a walk across the road to the beach, the Marina Palace is a quality hotel in an excellent location. However if you wish to explore central Rio it is quite a hike or a good taxi ride away...that said we had no problems going where we wanted and even had a view of Christo Redentor from our room! Plenty of bars and restaurants close by but prob more expensive than elsewhere in Rio. Staff v friendly and english speaking but if you like a good cup of tea in the morning take your own...nothing on offer but thats speaking as an Englishman! Overall an excellent hotel in an excellent city...would stay there again.
Great for a lazy stay on Ipanema beach but a long way from central Rio. Take plenty money if you want to eat and drink locally.
