very nice location!
We spend 4 nights at Blue Lagoon (Sept 22-26). Very nice studio , front lake, big TV screen and international sattelite channels. Also fantastic bathroom . The only complain is that have no room service .But who needs room service if you have all that fantastic beachs near??
Your life will be better if you rent a car and be free to visit all those beachs between Trinity and Port Douglas. Take all day long!! Will be a very nice experience!

Home from home modern self catering apartment to get over Jet lag!
Lovely apartment, beautiful resort with three pools! Man made lagoon with entertainment from the jumping fish along with warm nights sat on balcony with a local wine....or two! This place was like owning a flat on a swanky resort! Close enough to Cairns to get bus in for $8 return. Supermarket in easy walking distance, and very close to beach and a few bars/eateries. A small resort, busier at weekends than weekdays. Loved it.
Hired a car off frm fastcars after4days (Fab value!!). Local supermarket no more than 6mins walk away is well stocked & not that over priced. Local prawns (enough for 2main meals $17!! Bars literally at the end of road, very quiet but lovely. Ate out in resort & main meal & drinks for 2came to approx £20. Think i counted 6places to eat in total. Bus 2 and 2A into Cairns very very easy!
