Finding Your Way in Birmingham
I used to live in Birmingham 30 years ago, but returned October 09 to go to a concert at the NIA in Birmingham, the hotel was very comfortable and clean and the service was very good. The only problem we incurred was finding the place! it took us 30 minutes driving around the one way systems before we found the Holiday Inn, it would be very helpful for travellers looking for this hotel to have a very detailed map available on the internet to help them find their way around the said one way systems to get to this hotel, I also think that as they have no car parking facilities and you have to use the NCP car park at the rear of the hotel which costs you £14 for 24hours, you should get some sort of voucher off them to enable you to park there for a reduced rate!
If you do not know Birmingham, stay at a hotel outside the city and come in by bus
