Noise from entertainment could have ruined this holiday
Fully inclusive - so it was disappointing that in the units you had to hire for 1 euro a day the lead to the kettle, also the TV costed another 21 Euros. There was only one comfy chair, plus a very hard, very uncomfortable wood base couch, we found we took the cushions off and sat on the floor. Not at all satisfactory. The food showed variety and choice with a good system of collection. No umbrellas around the pool. Pool area very clean. The entertainment - why do people think we need constant music throughout the day around the pool, and in the evening, we just could not shut out the intollerably loud noise/music provided by the resident entertainer, despite the bedrooms being at the back of the unit. This went on until 11.30 each evening. Safety - you could not leave the bedroom window open as anyone could climb in as it had not stop on it, so windows had to be kept shut and bolted. No fans in the units to keep cool. We tended to leave the site though the day for quieter places. We made the most of our week, not sure if we would return to this particular hotel. I would give it 6 out of 10 the food 7 out of 10. The noise level 2 out of 10 if you like peace and quiet and not being organised by others for your entertainment.
Due to the poor Pound in relation to the euro food is expensive off site. So enjoy what is being offered at Ficus.

You only get what you pay for and we certainly had no complaints!
