Not as accessible as others - you need to be able to climb a hill.
A very clean and well-managed hotel with an excellent breakfast included in the price. The location is not picturesque and a little off the beaten path. There are many more attractive neighborhoods in which to stay in Lisbon. But if you don’t mind climbing the hill to the Principe Real area, or climbing the hill from Avenida da Liberdade to the hotel, it’s an OK place to stay.

Good quiet hotel in the old part of town
The hotel was in quiet location, convenient for restaurants and shops. Set on a hill with cobbled streets, take flat comfortable shoes if walking. I was only there for 1 night, but it provided everything I needed - good sized room, clean, with nice bathroom.

Nice hotel in a dull location
Excellent staff - very helpful and friendly. Rooms are OK. Except for a water stain (disconcerting) on the bathroom ceiling, it was comfy. Up a very steep, windy hill. Once you’re there there is nothing around. Restaurants, etc. are all a long walk or a cab ride. Desolate street at night.
