Okay hotel

Breakfast was fine. The rooms need to be updated and the location of the hotel made it difficult to find. I would not take my family back to this hotel.

Quiet location, nice walk into Salzburg’s center

The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, about 10 minutes from the center and another 10 minutes to the Old Town. Rooms were a decent size, although the pillow and comforter were a little bit small and thin. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff could not have been nicer; very helpful and accomodating. Top notch breakfast too! I’d recommend this hotel if you don’t need the luxuries.

Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks

Excellent value for the money. Breakfast was excellent - ran the gamut from cereal to eggs and bacon, juice, coffee and the like.

Dark days, hard nights

This hotel had some odd quirks: the bathroom was in a converted closet, and they turned off the electricity during the day. The beds felt like they from a prison. On the other hand the multilingual staff was very very friendly.
