Excellent spot to see rome

This hotel is well situated to see the sights of Rome with the large Piazza del Popolo nearby. The Pincio gardens are wonderfull and there is a restaurant and bar there which is one of Romes best kept secrets. The best way to get to the hotel from the termini in the centre of Rome is the Metro system and it is only 1 euro. Very easy even with luggage and when arriving at the Flamino station you go under the arch into the Piazza and go right across and the hotel is situated on the first side road. We took a taxi and paid a lot of money so it is not worth it. Hotel was good and the breakfasts provide a wide choice including cooked. Would go back.

Take comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking to see all the sights.

Dishing it up

I found the hotel surprisingly full of Italian character. Just loved the marble and wood decor as well as the art. The Front desk spoke good English and were very accommodating. The location was perfect for shopping, walking tours, and transportation. The adjacent restaurant was very good and reasonable.

Traveller's tip on local attractions

Take good walking shoes. There is so much to see. Please don’t miss the nearby city park as the view of the city sky line is breath-taking.

We’ve already recommended it to friends

Excellent location. Great breakfest. Rooms are small but well laid out. Very quiet. Front desk personel extremely nice and helpful.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

We hired a driver for an afternoon (hotel made the arrangements) and found it to be a wonderful way to see all the main attractions plus much more. After that, you can go back to the Vatican or other places on your own, if you choose.
