lived up to my expectations
Being a traveller that spends most of his time outdoors, my expectations from a hotel are not really too much: good location, cleanliness, safety and of course considerable price. Hotel Erzsebet conforms with all these criteria. One thing I did not like was the smell of the linens, especially cushions. They looked clean, but there was probably something not pleasant about the detergents they use. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
Traveller's tip on recreational activities
Be sure to go to a Spa to have a good relaxing time after all the traveling and sightseeing. I went to "Rudas Baths" which is in walking distance (just across the Erzsebet Bridge) and was satisfied with it.

Very good location and good hotel. One person in the reception, Grisha was very nice.

nice hotel good location
was only staying one night. was perfect for me as it was also just 2 or 3 stops on the bus to the train station and also pretty central in Pest.Only thing that was wrong was the AC or lack of it.It can be hot in Budapest in july,AC would’ve been nice.AC Machine was not working.
