Great location
Very comfortable small hotel with great location. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. only down fall is older building with creeky floors and a little stuffy. Other than that was very impressed and satisfied.

Overall OK but ...
All the rooms in this hotel have windows onto the street. This means they can be noisy especially if it is hot and you need to open the windows - there seems to be no air-con. On the plus side the staff are helpful and it is centrally placed for the old town.

The Russian restaurant Arbat just round the corner is good value for tourist Riga mid range eating

Beautiful hotel in heart of Old Riga
Beautiful hotel, smart rooms, great internal decor, great breakfast. However we requested a double bed and had two two single beds pushed together which was far from ideal for our romantic get away! And the bathroom stank of sewage for three days until we worked out that the trap did not have water in it, my boyfriend had to fix it. Receptionist was not interested. Would still go back though as long as could guarentee double bed.

Great if you love designer shopping, as big designer shopping mall is opposite.
