The best Hotel on the Thames
From the moment we arrived until we left we were impressed. The hotel its self was set in lovely gardens and right by the Thames which was nice to watch the boats going up and down and talk to reception to arrange the boat hire. The breakfast in this hotel are the bees knees and are worth getting up in the morning for!!! Also the all in one package for internet movies and the like is very good, we didnt try the restaurant in the evening as were meeting people in Windsor but the cream teas are good and the cocktails are to die for. All in all a very good package and well worth the money I will come back soon
Use the hotels as never very crowded and the staff very helpful

Good place for a special occasion
We took my mother-in-law away for the weekend. It was for her 85th birthday. What a great place to stay! Firstly, the hotel is right on the Thames, green grassy banks sloping down to the river where you can even hire one of the hotels electric boats which we did. Stunning location. Enjoyable boat trip on a very green and lovely part of the river. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I think someone is getting the training and staff management very right there. The afternoon tea was good: home made scones, quality cream and jam - and outside under the umbrellas with views over the river and lawns. We enjoyed the dinner. The set menus were good value at £19.95 for two courses and £24.95 for three. One of us had dishes off the a la carte menu. All good. If I had to find one fault with the food, Id say that breakfast was a bit weak in terms of quality of cooked foods but the range of available foods was very broad. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Room service and concierge staff were again very helpful and friendly. Lots of nice finishing touches. Yes, it was helped by the sunny, warm weather but I think it could be a snug spot for a winter break. Id go back!
