Be careful!
Stayed here for a wedding, which was in the manor house attached. The location is a little bit far outside of the city but it was convenient due to the wedding being held there. Don’t be fooled: this is a STUDENT HALLS OF RESIDENCE. We were pretty much expecting this and thought the price reflected this pretty well. What surprised us, that I don’t think has been said here, is that there are two different classes of rooms. The pictures shown online are in the "flats" and are basic but comfortable. We were put into the "Villas", which are EXTREMELY basic and rather cramped. The shower didn’t even have a stall...just a hole in the floor and a curtain. From talking to guests at the wedding, same price was for all, irrespective of online booking or calling a prereserved room. Nothing to indicate why people ended up where either...we had the best man and his family next door and they had to bathe their baby in the sink! Breakfast was not as good as expected either. A scottish breakfast without lorne sausage, haggis or black pudding??? As a scotsman I can firmly say "No way"!

Demand on the flats instead of the villas. If your room number is above 60, you are going to be disappointed.

Very friendly staff and helpful reception
This is a good place and quite good value though you have to be prepared to cope with large wedding parties on site - good location for us as we were travelling north but not central for Dundee city. The breakfast was friendly but food moderately good rather than superlative.
