Weatherstation Inn is highly recommended
Outstanding personal service provided by Barbara and the staff. She contacted me 5 days before my arrival and gladly booked a sunset cruise for the missus and I. She also arranged for us to stay two nights at the Westin Resort because the ongoing construction at the Inn is a bit disruptive during the week. This included complimentary breakfast at the 245 Bistro both days! That’s what I call above and beyond... The Inn itself is beautiful and situated in the quiet and very scenic Truman Annex. A perfect location for couples looking for a romantic Inn with more character than a cookie cutter hotel. Rooms are very charming and the bathrooms are quite accomodating with huge glass showers. Very nice. My only suggestions for improvement would be better mattresses and a hammock for the pool deck area. Our "queen size" was a pair of tired twin mattresses pushed together. Not very comfortable. The rooms deserve better than that. The pool deck is very nice and the furniture quite comfortable but a hammock would be IDEAL out there. Just a suggestion, not a complaint!

Great hotel
This is a small romantic restored historic building in a secure resort compound called The Truman Annex. It is private and yet only a few blocks from all the best spots in the Keys. The room was great and we enjoyed the hotel and would book it again when we return

fantastic, quaint place to stay
we just stayed there overnight for the weekend, to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life; it’s a fantastic location; close enough to Duval and the bars but far enough for some privacy and quiet time... we hope to go there again soon!
