A lovely hotel in a quiet area
Lovely looking hotel, but let down on the outside by looking a little drab especially with grass and weeds growing between the cobles on the driveway. Very nice entrance and reception area, spacious and all very clean. As it was a special occasion for us (my wife had just retired) we had a suite, which was very comfortable and spacious with a very large balcony, all kept very clean. We stayed half board and found the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, we dined in the Corinthia restaurant in the evening and found it was OK but we have had better. All of the staff were very helpful and very friendly which helped us have a most enjoyable holiday.
Traveller's tip on dining
Best to have half board accomadation as there are not many places to dine in the area.

Would go back for sure
Fantastic hotel. Quite location but with in easy reach of attractions. The hotel provides transportation to Sliema, Valletta, St Julians. Spa facilities on site. Very comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel and plan to stay in this hotel again.
Traveller's tip on saving a few bucks
Try the public transport ( Buses) they are very cheap with good connection to most of the major attractions around central Malta.

Excellent Hotel
This is most probably the most comfortable hotel room my wife and I have ever stayed in. (I used stay in hotels a lot on business.) The bed was excellent, everything worked, including the air conditioning and it was very clean. The Hotel is in the middle of the island and thus no sea views, but every room has views of the garden and the area is quirt. Having read a number of reviews with regard to the food we decided to book in half board and were delighted with the menu and service in the main restaurant. The only exception was a buffet meal on our first night and slow service on the Sunday, but these were not usual. We were there the 2nd week in September and the hotel appeared not to open all the advertised restaurants but you can get food and drinks around the excellent pool area, in the lobby cafe. In the evening try the main bar, the coffee is good and there will be someone playing unobtrusive music to a very good standard. If you want service and great rooms etc book here. I think children would not like it. But single couples, honeymooners and the slightly older should really enjoy this hotel.
Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay
You can get to most places from here, use the local buses, its 47 cents to Valleta, the same to Mdena. If you want a flavour of the island ask the concierge who will get the South Island bus tour booked for you and have you personally picked up and taken to the start. (15 euro all in). The north tour is perhaps not as interesting, and is easier to arrange yourself for less. (Think twice about hiring a car! Roads signs are not in evidence, traffic is heavy and parking is difficult.)
