A good place to base yourself.
This hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was a decent way to start the day. It is in good proximity to attractions. The sea and a beach is a couple blocks away, the Old Town can be easily reached by bus (or about a 40 minute walk), and the port is about a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is on a pedestrian only road and there are many restaurants at hand with all the diversity of food Dubrovnik has to offer.

To truly enjoy the Adriatic, rent a room or apartment on one of Dubrovnik’s nearby islands, such as Lopud, and stay one or two nights out there.

Tourist hotel in tourist setting
This was a perfectly comfortable place to stay, but was run down and a little grimey. Unfriendly staff, overcharged for food and very disappointing breakfast. Jacuzzi bath did not work. Expensive for Croatia, this was our most expensive and least nice accomodation. A big disappointment, loads of other hotels nearby looked a lot nicer!
