Beautiful location

We got the ’Mont Blanc’ view room for the price of a forest view room: the view was spectacular. The location is nice, but the noise of the highway down in the valley is significant. The saff intervened very adequately when guests in the room nextdoor me too much noise and were smoking.

Traveller's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Don’t forget to visit the wildlife park a few kilometers up the mountain!

Fantastic View

Try to book a room facing Mt Blanc - the glacier / snowcap are fantastic, even in July. Hotel fine; we ate in the restarant on one of their set meals & enjoyed it, although the the cheapest (as given to half board guests) looked pretty basic. Would we go back? Yes, if we were near or wanted to stay longer in the area (we were just passing through this time). Worth a major detour? No, except maybe for the view - which is where I started!.

Try to avoid the cheapest menu!

Good value

A good value hotel. We enjoyed our stay here. We enjoy hiking, so the reasonbly short haul up the hill did not bother us. We stayed on the "view side" of the hotel. Rooms were fairly small, but clean. I would describe our room as only average.

Public transport- Train station is at the bottom of the hill from the hotel (about 500 metres). Trains run approx every hour. A bus service also runs, but that involves another hike into town, up hill, of around 400 metres.
