Break-in in the middle of night
We checked in around mid night. First, I called them in front of hotel building to ask underground parking entrance. When I described what I am seeing (few big business names right in front of hotel) to front desk staff, he did not recognize any of name and he was not able to explain me where the entrance is even in KOREAN. After check in, we fall a sleep around 130AM and had to get up at 7AM. Around 230AM, someone broke in our room. Of course, my husband and I were screaming crazily. It turned out front desk made a mistake and gave the same room to other person again. I just could not believe that can happen. Beside this major thing, there was no basic things - no big towel, no shampoo and conditioner and unbelievably slow internet. I am a very frequent traveler and it was my worst hotel experience.

good Seoul option
Nice area, right next to the Sinchon subway station. Plenty of local and foreign places to eat. Lots of bars and clubs located nearby due to the close proximity of several institutes. okay breakfast.

can’t beat the location, price
I was only in korea for a few days to visit friends, but i would definitely consider an extended stay here. The room is of course small by american standards, but the residence is in a city of almost 50 million it is to be expected. everything was new in the room - modern stove, small fridge, cable TV, air conditioning, western-style shower bathroom. you are under a minute away from the subway and bus lines, airport bus, dozens of restaurants and bars; the list goes on. The only negative i would say was that the bed sheets seemed to be dirty when i arrived - found some hair in them. a call up to the front desk (it’s on the 14th floor) fixed that right up though, very professional staff. won’t find a better price in Seoul for this sort of accommodation.
Traveller's tip
google maps location is wrong! the residence building has a Loteria (fast food place) on it’s first floor, and is just down the road from Grand Mart - which is one of the largest corner buildings on Shinchon Rotary.
