Highly recommended
Great hotel. Very clean, new, friendly staff, very good breakfast. We would definitely stay in this hotel again. Not a very central location but within walking distance to the main tourist attractions. It is a nice walk from the hotel to the main points to visit. Still only a few steps from a metro station.
It is very easy to go from the airport to the city centre by bus/metro. It takes no more than 30-40 min and it will cost you only 26Czr per person plus 13 per large bag. You can either take the bus 119 to Dejvicka and then the green metro line or the bus number 100 to Zlicin and then the yellow metro line. We bought a Lonely Planet book and it was very helpful. We did most of the walking tours recommended. We also went for most of the Czech restaurants sugested in the guide and it was great. Generally good value for money and not tourist traps.

Good if you are not very demanding
If you are looking for a not expensive hotel, closed to the city center, located along the river, this is the hotel that fits the bill!!!. I would not consider it a luxury hotel: you do not have a restaurant service, only a breakfast one. Furthermore you will not get a beautiful view from your window. But if for you these things are not important for you, please consider this hotel a good solution for your trip.

Clean and comfy
Excellent location near the river, trams and metro.Secondary glazing reduced traffic noise to zero but air con did not seem efficient. As a result we had to open a window at night to cool down as we were there during a very hot spell Otherwise could not fault this hotel.Staff are congenial, speak english and were never looking out for tipping. Breakfast was more than adequate and not a bun fight..All in, all would highly recommend it and certainly stay there again if we were to revisit Prague.
Excellent restaurant 300 metres away opposite Fred and Ginger building with evening sun on outside tables although next to a busy road.English language menu available, varied ++ Penne o Pollo plus Greek salad particularly good.Draught Czeck beer at £1.10/half litre !!
