Good value
A decent hotel in a good location, 5 mins to the main square and 1 minute to Metro and Trams stations. The room was ’cosy’ but warm, comfortable, quiet and generally clean. I say generally because the carpet had a lot of marks, they looked like tar. A mystery to me as the room was on the 3rd floor and down the end of a corridor, so anyone walking tar in on their shoes should have lost it before they got to the room. The buffet breakfast had much to offer, even cauliflower! hot items were hot and I wouldn’t imagine anyone would go hungary. Friendly and helpful staff, all in all a hotel we would be happy to return to.

Great location and friendly staff
We had a great stay at Meteor Plaza. Our room was at the front of the hotel, overlooking the road, but most of the rooms overlook the courtyard at the back. It was noisy at night with the window open, but with window closed and air-con on it was quiet and fresh! The room was a little ’tired’ ,- carpets a bit stained etc, but comfy and clean. The location is fab, right by the powder gate, everything within easy walk and 20 steps to the municipal cafe, lovely art deco bar. Breakfast was a bit random, but all in all recommended. the hotel is very close to metro namesti republicki, get bus 119 from airport to metro, took 30 mins!

Very impressed
I am really impressed with the Best Western Meteor Plaza in Prague. The location of the hotel is excellent, just minutes of walk from all the important venues in the city center. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the free WIFI a little slow, but for emailing and basic browsing it is OK. I would recommend this hotel for business travel as well as city breaks and even longer stay.
